Koh Tao is also a atmosphere apart, some say “hippie”. The island itself is heavenly.
Beach, coconut, and warm clear waters, Koh Tao has something for everyone.
When traveling alone who will be able to meet people, to families
who will be able to discover the pleasures of the sea to their children,
Koh Tao has plenty to offer. This is intended for all, divers or not
Ko Tao, royal property, initially is an island whose objective was to incarcerate prisoners.
The primary purpose has been abandoned,
then people are installing to grow many fruits including coconuts.
Families still on the island have now ceased to carry coconuts on an industrial scale,
and those who received an opening to the sea began to receive tourists very briefly in the 1990s.
Nowadays, most islanders live from tourism during the diving and hotels mainly.
Although tourism is a big part of the money generated on the island,
Koh Tao has nothing to do with other nearby tourist islands such
as Koh Samui or Koh Phangan
On Koh Tao island, the beaches are quiet, reserved for guests in search of romance,
one of the most beautiful Chalok Baan Kao is located on the south coast of the island,
facing Koh Phan Gan. If you want a more hectic nightlife, preferre Haad Sairee ,
popular with many restaurants offering BBQ on the beach and bars.
However the beach of Haad Sairee is also a condensed of paradise about 1.7 Km,
everything is white sand, coconut trees and crystal clear waters …
